With the ACT Education Directorate,
Together with the ACT Education Directorate, The Careers Department is giving ACT government schools the opportunity to upskill students in years 10, 11 and 12 for the future of work, by offering them additional gamified modules that prepare them for virtual and face-to-face work experience.
To support existing virtual job experiences your students already have access to, aligned skill development modules will also be accessible through The Careers Department.
From the 17th August you will be able to access 46 additional Virtual Work Experience modules and 24 Skills Modules from The Careers Department platform, through a new drop-down in the Workplace Learning menu of your school’s careers website - just in time for National Skills Week on the 21st - 25th of August.

Virtual Work Experiences are industry specific, project-based modules. Their objective is to expose students to industry and enable them to gain meaningful work experience, virtually.
