The task instructed students to create 5 different worksheets that would help their class learn the letter Z through reading, writing and listening. They were then instructed to write a 30-40 minute lesson plan on the same topic.
Emily produced a fun and interactive lesson plan and used the worksheets as an effective tool. The choice of a ‘cut and paste’ worksheet was an extremely effective choice to engage young students in learning about a new letter. Emily also showed strong time management and decision-making skills, throughout her lesson plan scheduling.
Skills Developed: Decision Making, Adaptability, Critical Thinking, Information Literacy & Problem Solving.
